Hunger Games… must see and wear!

So I’m not much of a reader but I kept hearing everyone talk about the Hunger Games, so I had to see for myself what it was all about.  3 books, 8 days later, and neglect for my family I finished them and all I can say is AWESOME!  So once I was done I made plans with my two best girls for a girls day to go see the movie on opening Friday. (I am to old for midnight J)

We had decided to see the mid-day show and do lunch before.  The plan was to meet at 11:30.  At 10am I get this crazy idea that I want to make a shirt to wear to the movie.  So with a template I traced off my computer and some white spray paint I went to it!  I was done with the shirt in 20 minutes but after I realized how much it reeked of spray paint fumes I knew I had to wash it before I left.  Long story short, a quick hand wash, a few minutes in the dryer were not enough.  So with a different shirt on I headed for the door.  The 20 minute drive consisted of me holding my shirt in different directions over the vents in my car with the heat on full blast.  Presto it was dry by the time I arrived!  “May the odds be ever in your favor.” … I would say they were.
